Bronze Bob | Robert Morris University

Bronze Bob is a life-size representation of RMU's namesake -- the Founding Father who became the Financier of the American Revolution -- sitting on a bench with room for you to join him. Share your #BronzeBob snapshots on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

A gift of the Class of '13 and of Sid, Ellen, and Geoff Zonn. Bronze Bob is modeled on the Robert Morris statue that stands near Independence Hall in Philadelphia. He grasps a rolled document in his hand, a reminder that Morris was one of only two men to sign each of America's founding documents -- the Declaration of Independence: the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution.
