EDITOR'S NOTES

PERSONAL MENTION

-- Ann Jabro, university professor of communication, has been named a 2012 Plank Fellowship recipient at the Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations. Educators who participate in the program spend two weeks in top corporations and agencies to gain exposure and offer academic insights into key issues facing practitioners. The fellowship is highly competitive and recognizes Jabro's important leadership in the field.

*WELLNESS TIP* Don't ignore your hunger signals. If you're hungry, eat a nutritious, low-fat snack or meal. Skipping meals is not a good way to lose weight. You'll most likely just overeat later. You also might slow down your metabolism, which is fired by nutrients in food.
