-- RMU was named among the top 3 in Educemic’s Top Pennsylvania Online Schools for 2015. The rankings looked at 421 colleges and universities in Pennsylvania and determined the top 19 fully online institutions. It also looked at tuition costs and alumni network, payment plan and staff availability, and the clarity and ease of receiving and interpreting information.

-- RMU Colonial Theatre invites you to Massey Theater for the showing of Titanic the musical! (Maybe the ship won't sink this time?) Directed by Professor Barbara Burgess-Lefebvre, the show runs from  through Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. each night with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.

-- Please join the Department of Media Arts for a lecture by visiting artist/photographer Brian Kaldorf on Tuesday Nov. 18 from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in the Wheatley Center Critique Space. Kaldorf carefully crafts his complex photo illustrations from components that he photographs separately while sculpting highlights and shadows with lighting. Each concept is sketched out in advance and meticulously assembled into a composite to match his initial vision for the piece. “I get a vision in my head and do my best to translate it into the photographic medium,” he explains. “I tend to find humor in the everyday, and I try to bring that into the picture-making process. I have a blast creating images, and I want that to come through to the viewer. Every day, I’m thinking about my next picture and how I can build it. I can’t imagine doing anything else.” For more information please contact Christine Holtz, professor of media arts, at or 412-397-6210.
