-- The Society of Actuaries has once again named the RMU Actuarial Science Program a Center of Actuarial Excellence, a prestigious honor bestowed on only approximately 25 universities worldwide. In 2009, RMU was among the first 10 institutions to earn this designation after a rigorous review of the program's quality. The designation as a Center for Actuarial Excellence is renewed through 2019.

-- U.S. News and World Report has ranked RMU No. 24 in the nation for online graduate programs in information technology. RMU stood out for applying the same rigor to online courses as on-ground courses, and that full-time faculty designed its online courses. And Affordable Colleges Online ranked RMU among the Top Online Psychology Degrees for 2015. The ranking evaluated hundreds of colleges across the nation, looking for the programs with the "best combination of academic rigor, flexibility, support and affordability." The rankings also factored in student-faculty ratio, graduation rates, job placement, and loan default rate.
