RMU Online Education Degrees Now Offered Through NEA Academy

Pittsburgh, Jan. 20. 2015 – Robert Morris University is now one of only five universities nationwide to offer online graduate degree programs to educators through the NEA Academy, which allows members of the National Education Association anywhere in the nation to earn a college degree at a reduced rate.

“RMU is thrilled to offer our full catalog of online graduate education programs to the NEA membership at a discount. We look forward to working with these talented educators as they hone skills, add knowledge, and build new avenues in their careers,” said Mary Ann Rafoth, dean of the RMU School of Education and Social Sciences.

The RMU School of Education and Social Sciences offers NEA members its three online master’s degree programs, an online doctoral program, and four certificate programs at a 10 percent discount. Programs available from RMU through the NEA Academy are:

  • M.S. in Instructional Leadership
  • M.S. in Higher Education
  • M.S. in Business Education
  • Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership
  • Certificate in Online Teaching
  • Certificate in Autism Spectrum
  • Certificate in Reading
  • Certificate in English as a Second Language
