Skovira has been teaching at RMU for over 20 years and is writing a book on the ethnography of technology, the subject of one of his doctorate-level classes.

YOU'RE INVITED

-- "Selections 2015", the first exhibition of the year by the RMU Department of Media Arts, runs through Sept. 24 in the Media Arts Gallery in the Wheatley Center. The year's exhibition highlights the work of four faculty members,: Professor Christine Holtz, Assistant Professor Cigdem Slankard and part-time faculty members, Jessica Kalmar and Lauren Zito. By featuring the work of just four faculty, the size of our beautiful gallery enables us to show a small body of work by each faculty member, representing one aspect of their current professional practice research profile. Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.

-- The Office of Graduate Admissions is hosting a free GMAT practice test event on Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Wheatley Center. Doors open at 8 a.m., and a continental breakfast is provided.
