-- After President Howard and David Morehouse, President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Penguins signed an agreement last Tuesday, RMU is Official Higher Education Partner of the Penguins, and the Pens will recognize this new partnership at their game on January 30. As the presenting partner of the game versus the San Jose Sharks this Tuesday, the Pens have extended a limited amount of discounted tickets to Robert Morris University employees. Use Offer Code COLONIAL to unlock the $66 discount for the game. In addition, all fans attending the game on Tuesday will receive a Penguins 5x Champions Ice Scraper presented by Western Pennsylvania Honda Dealers. Again, there is a limited amount of tickets available on a first come, first served basis.

-- University Library Dean Tim Schlak has been elected as Vice-President/President-Elect of the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc. Schlak joins Deans and Directors on the Board of Directors from other participating institutions, including Temple, Drexel, Duquesne, and Millersville. PALCI is best known for its book lending program E-ZBorrow but is also active in promoting other forms of collaboration such as shared professional development among its nearly 70 academic library members in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and West Virginia.

RMU BASKETBALL COACHES SHOW...featuring Robert Morris head coach Andy Toole resumes Monday Jan. 29 from Primanti Brothers Restaurant (8651 University Blvd./Moon) at 7 pm. All fans are welcome to attend, and food/drinks are on us. Co-hosting the show is the RMU Hall of Fame Voice of the Colonials Chris Shovlin. It airs live each Monday at 7 through March 12 on the radio home for RMU Hoops, 970 AM ESPN Pittsburgh as well as on the iHeart Radio mobile app. The two shows in March will originate from The Hangar Sports Bar. 

RMU HOCKEY COACHES SHOW...featuring Colonial head man Derek Schooley continues on Tuesday Jan. 30 from The Hangar Sports Bar (500 Flaugherty Run Road/Moon) at 7 pm. Come out and get the inside scoop on Robert Morris Hockey from the coach as well as radio announcers Mike Prisuta and Tim Benz.
