--RMU Colonial Theatre presents Lanford Wilson’s The Rimers of Eldritch at Massey Hall Thursday, Feb. 23 through Saturday, Feb. 25 at 8p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available through Student Life at 412-397-5408 or at the door the day of the show. -- The 23rd Annual Teaching Economics Conference runs through Saturday. Read more about the conference.

-- The RMU Interfraternity Council (IFC) won the 2011 Membership Recruitment Award - IFC Division I from the  Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values, a national leadership organization affiliated with North American Interfraternity Conference member organizations. The award was for programming success associated with the IFC's membership recruitment efforts last year.

-- The United Way has launched the 211 help line to allow people in need to access the resources tailored to help them. The service is now available in southwestern Pennsylvania and can be accessed from RMU's campus by dialing 9-2-1-1 on your office phone.

PERSONAL MENTION

-- Val Howard, associate professor of nursing, published "High-Fidelity Nursing Education" in MinorityNurse about RMU's medical simulation programs. Howard is the director of RMU's Regional RISE Center.

*WELLNESS TIP* Prevent heartburn. Don't overeat. Eat smaller, more frequent meals and avoid evening or late-night snacks. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Try to stay upright for at least two to three hours after each meal.
