CI468 - Integrated Office Info Systems

This course provides the student with the background necessary to evaluate requirements, make recommendations as to the selection of hardware and software to support telecommunication systems, and to write an implementation plan for installation of a system of a given office environment. Primary emphasis is on identifying and evaluating applications and benefits for the following telecommunication systems: electronic mail, voice systems, facsimile transmission, local area networks, teleconferencing, videoconferencing, telecommuting, and telemarketing.
Prerequisite: CI466.
