CI661 - Spec Topic: Comp Lan Os/Appl
Spring 1998

This course is a comparative analysis of server-centric based, e.g. Netware 3.12, and domain based network operating systems (NOSs), e.g. Netware 4.11. Students will design and implement various network maintenance requirements through the use of hands-on lab assignments. TCP/IP connectivity and NOS applications such as E-mail, communication, and fax servers will also be discussed.
Prerequisites: Experience or class work in network and data communications is recommended.
