This course introduces issues and concepts about technological development and its impact upon individuals, organizations, society, and culture. Information technology's impact upon organizational and societal structures is studied in depth. A theoretical framework is developed for understanding the relationship between technology and its environment, including ehtical and legal dimensions.
Prerequisite: 12 credits
