COIS7150 - Internet/Html Programming

This course provides the student with both Internet and HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) skills, ranging from basic to advanced. Some Internet topics include the concept of the Internet, the various protocols used, browsers and tools, searching for information on the Internet, server-client relationships, and CGI (Common Gateway Interface) programming. The course considers Home Page or WWW (World Wide Wed) site design, development and management, as well as HTML document design and construction. HTML topics will include the basic and advanced syntax or tags used to create HTML documents. Some specific items will be the syntax for tables, forms, and CGI programming in JavaScript and PERL.
