MGMT4150 - Statistical Process Controls

Fall 2011

This course will expose the student to the statistical methods employed in controlling manufacturing and service oriented processes. The student will learn how to approach a typical manufacturing process, gather the appropriate data, analyze the data, and develop effective systems to monitor and control the system in question. A fairly strong background in Statistics is required since the application of statistical techniques such as Goodness-of-Fit, ANOVA, multiple linear regression, and control charting will be employed. Software proficiency in word processing and database is required.
Prerequisite -- STAT3120 (QS312).
