DISC8140 - Info Systems In Legal Contexts
Fall 2012 Doctoral The inquiry seminar explores complex legal issues involved in information technology. Students consult and then develop case studies and vertical industry studies to examine the legal context of information technology in organizational and societal settings. Topics include: suitability, potential problems, limitations of information security and privacy issues. The course also reviews management and legal constraints and the treatment of information technology by consumer groups, trade associations, and regulatory initiatives. 3 Credits |
