NURS8140 - Evidenc Based Prac Adv Nur Rol Fall 2012 Doctoral This course introduces the student to the importance of evidence-based practice to advance practice nursing. Using the research process to assess evidence for clinical application will be addressed. Students will explore different patterns of reasoning and their relationship to evidence-based practice and learn to evaluate evidence-based literature within their area of specialization. Evidence-based practice as an integral part of best practice and practice guidelines will be emphasized in this course. Prerequisites: NURS8020 and STAT8010 3 Credits
