MGMT4560 - Project Management
Fall 2013 Students will be introduced to all phases of the project management process, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects. Special emphasis will be given to the application of software tools and analytical methods used to support these processes. Course topics are drawn from the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge, which is respected as a basis for education and practice in the project management field. Project management certification options will be discussed, and students completing the course will have completed the education requirement to be eligible to take the Project Management Institute's Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification exam.
