This course is designed to provide a comprehensive look at the basic organizational structures found in the sport/recreation industry. Students examine application of managerial concepts and process: ways in which organizations interact with each other and with their environments, including government and industry regulations; and the managerial functions of planning, organizing, influencing, and controlling.
