Summer 2014

The Problem-Oriented Project represents a formal approach for students to address a business problem situation during an internship/practicum. Based on and linked to the research protocol produced in the research methodology course, students will begin to conduct an analysis of an existing management problem within the organization where they are currently employed or from an organization submitting a problem to be addressed by a student. During the internship/practicum, the student will work under the guidance of a preceptor (mentor) within the business organization and a faculty advisor at the University. A first written proposal will be completed and submitted through the preceptor to the faculty advisor. The proposal should be grammatically and structurally correct and of graduate quality.
