This practicum allows the student to implement the theory which is covered in NURS9220 Diagnosis and Management of Geriatric Clients. Students are assigned to a preceptor in a variety of primary care setting with an emphasis on the geriatric client . Students will diagnoses, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic regimens for geriatric patients with conditions commonly encountered in primary health care settings.
