MGMT4050 - International Business
Fall 2012

International Business introduces the student to the fundamentals of global business operations. The emergence of new coalitions, arenas of business and intense global competition for limited resources are studied in historical context. The course stresses the vital importance of understanding unique, environmental factors as major determinants of success or failure in managing around the world. Management, marketing, accounting, economics and finance are included in an integrated approach to doing business in other countries.

      International Business introduces the student to the fundamentals of global business operations. The emergence of new coalitions, arenas of business and intense global competition for limited resources are studied in a historical context. The course stresses the vital importance of understanding unique, environmental factors as major determinants of success or failure in managing around the world. Students who register for the course are required to attend class and go on the 2017 study abroad program to Cuba May 9-May 18, 2017.
