NURS9320 - Mgt Psychiatric Disorders II

This course builds directly on the knowledge base developed in the physical and psychiatric diagnosis courses but emphasizes a holistic perspective in the provision of comprehensive care for individuals experiencing acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. The focus is on utilization of evidence-based practice findings to plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic regimens of individuals experiencing acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. Psychological factors affecting common medical conditions will also be highlighted.
Prerequisites: NURS9010, NURS9110, NURS9210, and NURS9215 Co-requisite: NURS9325
