Men’s Hockey Held Scoreless At St. Cloud State
 
St. Cloud State scored 2:43 into the game and never looked back en route to a 7-0 win over Robert Morris University in men’s hockey action in St. Cloud, Minn., on Saturday night. The loss was the Colonials sixth straight and the third straight time that the team has been held scoreless.

Robert Morris falls to 4-10-1 on the year and has gone 185:05 without a goal. They look to get the offense back on track Sunday, December 18, as they again take on St. Cloud State in a 8:05 p.m. EST start.

Joe Jensen tallied two goals, including the gamewinner, as well as an assist as the Huskies improved to 7-8-2 on they year. Brock Hooton finished with a goal and two assists while Gary Houseman chipped in with two scores.

Jensen opened the scoring with a power-play goal 2:43 into the first period. He stretched the lead to 2-0 with an even-strength goal at 7:21 as St. Cloud pelted Robert Morris sophomore goaltender Christian Boucher (Orleans, Ontario / Cumberland Grads) with 19 shots in the first period.

Nate Dey added an even-strength goal and Hooton a power play score in the second period while Houseman scored twice and Matt Hartman once in the third period.

The Huskies held a 53-13 advantage on shots on goal and went 2-5 on the power play while holding the Colonials scoreless in six chances. RMU has scored once in their last 34 power-play opportunities.

Boucher finished with 30 saves and four goals against in two periods of work while junior Joe Tuset (Eagan, Minn. / Northern Michigan Univ.) made 16 saves while allowing three goals in the third period.
