Moon Township, Pa., May 1, 2008 -- The Robert Morris University (RMU) Media Arts Gallery will feature "International Arrivals", an exhibition by the Gandhi-group, through July 26. The gallery is located at 600 Fifth Ave. in downtown Pittsburgh.

The Gandhi-group comprises artists who are present and former senior academics and who have led and/or taught at renowned university and college visual arts programs in Europe, the United States, Australia and South America. Many talented artists and designers have passed through programs they have led, or taught in.

"International Arrivals" represents an opportunity for the members of Gandhi-group to each nominate one of these individuals, drawn from six different countries, who they believe deserves greater recognition, to highlight their extraordinary practice and to exhibit together for the first time.

The opening reception is from 5 to 8 tonight, May 1. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 to 4 p.m. The gallery will be open Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
