Description: This paper provides practical information on how to design and implement discrete mathematics modules for coordinated presentation in core curriculum and discrete mathematics courses and is intended for information systems programs seeking ABET accreditation or already accredited by ABET. These modules reinforce the application relevance of the topics and are selected for core curriculum course suitability and on the basis of needs and interests of IS students and foster motivation and confidence as well as understanding of how the concepts presented serve them in learning and will serve them in career settings. Experiences in the information systems (IS) and information systems management (ISM) programs at Robert Morris University (RMU) guided the design of this paper. IS 2002 Core Curriculum mapping for the RSU program is provided as an example.
