Course Description

This course focuses on the historical, political, economic, legislative, judicial, technological, social, and educational events that have affected or are affecting public education in the United States. Students are expected to complete independent and collaborative learning activities requiring them to research and report findings in written and oral presentations, use instructional and personal productivity technology, write a statement of personal philosophy, complete departmental field experiences or a position paper, and function in a professional, ethical manner.
