Course Description

This course covers the history and evolution with the business of the videogaming and rise of the ESports at the professional, collegiate, high school and club levels. Topics include: the governance of ESports, gaming content and strategy, the ESport athlete, emerging business and marketing models, and event/facility planning.

Prerequisites: ECON1010, ECON1020 OR ECON1030 (1035 Honors) AND INFS1020 (1025 Honors)
