Course Description
This course is designed to enable a student to take a proactive approach to computer security. Students learn to build programs which help get security right the first time. Emphasis is on software and software developers' practices which cause security problems, and instructions to make their code behave. This course provides expert perspectives and techniques to help ensure the security of essential software and, by considering threats and vulnerabilities early in the development cycle, the incorporation of security into a computer system.
