Course Description
This course will focus on developing leadership and supervision competencies that are intrinsic to being an effective manager in an educational organization. An educational leader's responsibilities as a collaborator, team member, advocate, and service coordinator will be studied. Supervisory theories and models as well as leadership styles and practices will be analyzed. Data driven decision models will be explored that improve the teaching and learning process. In addition, contract management and negotiations concepts will be reviewed that are necessary in the role of an effective leader.
