Course Description
This course introduces students to numerous marriage and family theories, as well as the history of marriage and family therapy. The information in this class is designed to equip trainees for practice in their field placements. Diversity factors, life cycle stages and family history will be considered in establishing the therapeutic relationship and conceptualizing the family.
