Course Description
This course is designed to provide doctoral students in education with the basics of descriptive and inferential statistical concepts as they apply to education. Topics covered in this course include hypothesis testing for correlation and experimental techniques, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and variability, probability, and sampling theory. T tests and z tests will be covered. This course will also include instruction in the use of statistical software for computation of statistical procedures.
