This course satisfies part of the Communication Skills graduation requirement. Students registering for this course must also register for section "C1" of EDUC0302.

This section is Communication Skills intensive. Communication Skills I-V must be completed before taking this course.

Course Description

This course enables the prospective teacher to develop skills to create a learning environment that will help students, including those from diverse backgrounds, to meet lesson and course outcomes. Students will learn how to design lesson and unit plans and design instructional presentations that incorporate appropriate teaching strategies and pedagogy, instructional media/technology, and both formative and summative assessment/evaluation techniques.

Prerequisites: EDUC2000 or EDUC2100, COSK2220 or COSK2225 and Candidacy Status

Co-requisite: EDUC0302
