Course Description

Middle Level Education is designed to provide both the theoretical background and the practical knowledge of middle level philosophy and organization; development and diversity of the emerging adolescents; middle level curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Students will be introduced to instructional strategies indigenous to middle level instruction such as interdisciplinary, thematic instruction, exploratory learning, and team teaching.

Prerequisite: Permission of the Department Head
