Course Description

This course is a discussion-based approach to developing skills necessary for analyzing problems related to the management of today's sport or recreation organizations. Students will prepare a series of assigned case analyses and a comprehensive research paper on a topic of their choice. Class readings, discussions, cases, and research assignments will all examine the adaptation of fundamental business principles in the specialized sport setting.

Prerequisites: SPMG3401, SPMG3402 and 90 credits
