Course Description

This course emphasizes the general principles and concepts of organic chemistry for students in environmental science and related fields. Topics covered include: Distillation, Extraction, Recrystallization, Chromotography, Acid-Catalyzed Dehydration, Reactions of Alkenes, SN2 Reactions, Kinetics, and IR Spectroscopy.
