Course Description
This course is designed for students interested in the health professions or for those that want to
understand more about how the body works. Physics is rapidly taking on a greater role in both
medicine and biological sciences. The purpose of this course is to show how physics is applied in
the health sciences. In particular, we will investigate how basic physics principles can describe
numerous actions and properties of the human body.
All Nuclear Medicine or Biology Education majors registering for this course are usually required
to register for the required lab. (PHYS1015).
