Course Description
The historical metheods course is designed to introduce students to the methods and tools of historical thought, research, and writing, as well as the implications of the digital turn in the researching and writing of history. Particular attention will be given to research skills and related analytical issues addociated with the process of writing history, including the language, sources, organization, and style of historical writing. This methodological training will help students gain the necessary research, writing, and presentation skills to pursue graduate studies in history wihile also offering key skills for a variety of provessional settins beyond graduation.
