Course Description

This course presents a comprehensive sociological analysis of women. While particular emphasis will be placed on contemporary American society, some cross-cultural and historical data will be presented. Economic, occupational, health and language issues will be examined. The social contributions of women will also be explored.

Prerequisite: SOCI1010 or SOCI1020
