Course Description
This seminar will examine the mathematics and design principles behind computer animation. We will present some of the algorithms underlying ray-tracing software and will present the mathematics necessary to understand these algorithms. Additionally students will learn and experience the creative and technical step-by-step process of producing an animation from inception to final product as they are given opportunities to practice the mathematics and visual principles while programming animations.
