Course Description

This course provides students with an overview of the macro economy, market structures, financial markets, and corporate finance. Students will learn the fundamentals of demand and supply analysis as it applies to goods, labor, capital, foreign exchange, and financial markets. Students will understand and apply valuation principles into stocks and bond. The relationship between risk and return will be discussed in the context of well-established theories including portfolio theory, CAPM and APT.

Prerequisites: Pre-MBA competency in economics as approved by the MBA Director and MBAD6110
