Course Description

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive look at the management and operations of scholastic and intercollegiate athletics. Students will examine the history, structure, and operations of important entities within the intercollegiate/scholastic athletic environment. Other topics include study of the governance and current issues of collegiate/scholastic sports as well as examination of athletic department operations at both levels.

Prerequisites: SPMG1010, SPMG1011 and 60 credits
