Success—for her it’s a family thing. Thanks to RMU. She always thought she’d be a teacher. But when Brigette Basilone transferred to Robert Morris University, she took an accounting course and fell in love with it.
Brigette’s mom got her degree from RMU and started working at PricewaterhouseCoopers right out of school. Her big sister, Nicole, who was an accounting major here, now works there as a senior associate. Last summer Brigette interned with the company, and she plans to follow in her family’s footsteps. Talk about all in the family.
RMU's best aspect is its small classroom size. It's amazing to have that one-on-one time with professors.
In the meantime, Brigette's honing her communications skills and getting some valuable hands-on experience. "Nicole is so dedicated, and my mom is the hardest worker I've ever known," she says. "Their stories of success began at RMU, and now I'm writing my own story."
