Lean Manufacturing Enterprise 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This one-half day overview serves as a great initial overview of lean. It works perfectly for companies looking to move to a lean manufacturing environment and sets the stage through hands-onlearning and traditional lecture. The program includes lecture, a lean simulation, and video. The simulation teaches the participants the details of lean and shows them the results that can be achieved through the use of lean manufacturing.

OBJECTIVES

This class will give participants an overview of lean and the basic methodology of lean enterprise. The participants will learn via a hands-on workshop how to see waste and eliminate waste in their business. Participants will have the basic tools to start the identification of waste in their business.

- Eight wastes in an office environment.

INSTRUCTOR

Stan Gwizdak serves as the President of S&G Business Ventures Inc. He started his lean business advisory services in 2005 to drive Lean and productivity enhancements across many companies. Stan deployed lean and Six Sigma across 8 business units of 5 different companies during his corporate career. During his career Stan has served as a President of a subsidiary of General Electric and has held titles of COO, VP Six Sigma/Lean, VP Lean and Continuous process Improvement, Black Belt, Master Black Belt and other titles at Honeywell, Textron, Aurora Capital and The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
