What’s EYH all about?
EYH is a conference for girls in 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grade interested in exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics careers. Throughout the day you will attend hands-on workshops developed by RMU faculty, students and industry professionals in the STEM fields. Cost to attend is $15 and scholarships are available. The registration fee includes snacks, lunch and all materials. To request a scholarship call 412-397-3214.
All student participants will receive a "Can*TEEN, it is a career exploration toolkit for the girl who wants to change the world. It is full of incredible resources, like CDs for each STEM discipline that are loaded with profiles of female role models, cool activities, information on classes and scholarships, and classroom tools for teens. Can*TEEN was developed by the Girls, Math & Science Partnership, a program of Carnegie Science Center.
To register for the conference you may do so by downloading the Student Registration form or Registering online. If you register online, then you must download the release form and mail or fax along with your $15 registration fee.
