People would be surprised to know that: "I flew a single-engine plane solo while in college."
During my senior year in high school, a positive mentorship experience sparked my interest in education. When I came to Robert Morris University, I wanted to give students that same type of guidance. The 2009-10 academic year marks my 40th year here at RMU, and in all this time my passion for teaching has continued to grow.
Our school offers a number of dynamic programs in elementary and secondary education, applied psychology, and the social sciences. Recently, our faculty worked collaboratively to achieve national accreditation, which is a testament to both the strength and success of our education program.
Students in our school have many opportunities to become engaged in their learning, through clubs and organizations, field placements and practicums, volunteering, and even through studying or student teaching abroad. We want your RMU experience to be fun, fulfilling, and professionally rewarding, and I am committed to do whatever it takes to help you succeed.
