You are invited, and encouraged, to submit your research to the 37th Annual Western Pennsylvania Undergraduate Psychology Conference (WPUPC).
This year's conference will be held at Robert Morris University (main campus in Moon Township, PA) in the Sewall Center. Late registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 25th, 2009. Both paper (oral) and poster (stand and chat) presentations will be accepted online until Friday, April 10, 2009. Paper presentations should be approximately 10 minutes in length (allowing an additional few minutes for questions). Poster sessions will be scheduled in 60-minute blocks. Because only tables will be provided for poster presentations, please prepare your posters on self-standing (e.g., 3’x4’ tri-fold) poster-boards which are available at office supply stores, arts-and-crafts or hobby stores, and probably most department stores as well. Please see Information for Presenters for additional information regarding presentations.
All attendees are expected to Register for the conference. This will allow us to get a close estimate of the number of people who will need to be accommodated (parking, food, handouts, etc.). Individuals who Submit a paper or poster abstract will automatically be registered for the event. If a group presentation is being presented then only one presenter needs to submit the abtract, the other presenters will need to fill out the registration form.
This year's conference fee will be $10.00 and includes the CONFERENCE PROGRAM, a light breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks. Fees can be paid at the late-registration table when you arrive or arranged in advance for groups (receipts will be available for those needing to document their expenses). Please bring either cash or a check made out to Robert Morris University.
