Roger R. Hock, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology and human sexuality at Mendocino College in northern California. He received his M.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University and his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego. He is also the author of Forty Studies that Changed Psychology: Explorations into the History of Psychological Research, 6th Ed. (Pearson Prentice Hall, 2009), coauthor of It's My Life Now: Starting Over After an Abusive Relationship or Domestic Violence (Routledge, 2006) and most recently, Human Sexuality, 2nd Ed. (Pearson Prentice Hall, 2010).
