Are you SET for Success? This fall, RMU is rolling out the Student Engagement Transcript (SET) as a way to formally document your involvement in experiential learning — leadership activities, community service, study abroad, work experience and more.
Starting with the 2008-09 academic year, the University will capture your participation in these activities on the SET, which will accompany your academic transcript as part of the formal record of your achievements here. If you choose, the SET will be provided to employers and graduate schools that request a copy of your academic transcript. Together, these two documents will demonstrate how you have applied what you have learned in the classroom to real-world situations.

For undergraduate students currently enrolled at RMU, participation in the "SET for Success" program is voluntary - though we encourage all undergraduate students to do so. Starting with the freshman class in the fall of 2009, new undergraduate students must participate in activities in at least two of the seven categories by the time they graduate, which will be documented on their SET.
