People would be surprised to know that..."I spent 18 months working and traveling across Europe when I was 19."

Lynda J. Davidson, Ph.D., RNI first found my passion for nursing when I started clinical rotations as a student nurse. Providing vital care - a nervous mother and her newborn infant, a troubled young woman with mental illness, a man dying from heart disease - to me was amazing.

I was awed by the immense responsibility that professional nurses had in caring for patients at such critical moments in their lives.

And in each of these learning experiences, I was guided and encouraged by wonderful faculty, who would later be the foundation for my teaching career.

At RMU, I am proud to lead the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Our programs excel in providing students with an educational environment that focuses on close relationships with faculty, rich simulation and clinical experiences at world-class facilities, and lots of opportunities for engaged learning at both a local and international level.

Our progressive integration of technology makes our graduates prepared for today's challenges and poised for tomorrow's.
