The mission of the Robert Morris University, Department of Nursing is to provide quality undergraduate and graduate nursing education leading to a bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), master's degree in nursing (MSN), or doctoral degree in nursing practice (DNP). The undergraduate program prepares the beginning generalist professional nurse. The graduate nursing programs expand the level of practice in direct patient care, nursing education and leadership roles across health care systems.
Through translation of theoretical concepts into engaged learning experiences in nursing, incorporating business, information technology, communications, and international opportunities, Robert Morris University nursing graduates will be ready to meet the challenges in rapidly changing health care systems from a culturally sensitive national and international perspective.
