What it is

An online tool for creating "word clouds" from text you provide. You can tweak your word clouds with different fonts, color schemes and layout, and then print or save them.

How it works

Go to www.wordle.net and click Create. Type or paste a bunch of text in the provided field and then click Go. Use the dropdown menu to alter your font, color scheme and layout choices. Print it, save it to the Wordle.net gallery or use the PrintScreen key on your keyboard to copy your screen and paste it into Word or photo editing program.

Ways to use it

You might use your word cloud on your website, social media, print publications or posters. Word clouds are used as educational tools, visual summaries of key points in a talk or document, icebreakers at events - use your imagination!
